Events with Mitchell Crosby are always a good time as his tagline suggests, “It’s always a party with JMC Charleston.” Crosby is one of the city’s top event planners. Recently, he worked with Hamby Catering to host a “Breakfast in Wimbledon” brunch at his home that was featured in July’s edition of Charleston Magazine.

While a friendly tennis bruncheon might seem like a low-key get-together, that is never the case in the Crosby home. The event was adorned with floral centerpieces, a full-service bar and an array of bites from Hamby Catering.

Sticking with the theme of Wimbledon, Crosby wanted a quaint, English feel at the occasion. The menu was handcrafted at the home by Randall Felkel who enlisted Hamby’s help to round out the selections. For the party, we provided our Cheese Straws, Pecan Raisin Crisps, Deviled Eggs, Tomato and Cucumber Rounds, Petite Crêpe with Smoked Salmon, Creme Fraiche and Caviar, along with our Shrimp Salad Sandwiches for a brunch that was bloody delicious!
