Diving Into 2017

We dove right into the new year by catering more than 1,200 guests at the annual Snyder Grand Ball. Partygoers celebrated 2017 with dancing, a full bar and eats on every level of the aquarium from Hamby Catering. The evening also featured music by the David Higgins Band & DJ NattyHeavy. In the midst of it all, guests even stopped for an occasional fish sighting.

Our menu included easy to eat foods in kraft boats including our Lowcountry Jambalaya, BBQ Chicken Thighs, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Hand Pressed Waffles and Braised Short Ribs with Mashed Potatoes. Downstairs in the tank room, guests snacked on our Signature Farm Stand Display.

As the champagne was poured for a midnight toast, attendees enjoyed interacting with our S’mores Trail Mix Display, featuring Golden Grahams, Mini Marshmallows, Butterscotch Chips, White Chocolate Chips and Chocolate Chips. Total yum!

It was a wonderful way for some of our staff to ring in the new year by catering one of Charleston’s most celebrated events. We look forward to a successful 2017!
