For the fourth year in a row, we are thrilled to announce that Hamby Catering has been voted 2020’s Best Caterer by the readers of the Post & Courier, the oldest daily newspaper in the South and one of the oldest continuously operating newspapers in the United States. Out of the 200,000 nominations for 6,000 businesses in 300+ categories, we are humbled to win this prestigious honor. This recognition is particularly impactful and meaningful for Team Hamby in light of the tumultuous past seven months, during which time the hospitality industry – along with many others – has been economically, physically and emotionally devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic. As an essential business, Hamby Catering and The Market at Hamby is incredibly proud that we’ve remained open through COVID-19 to serve the Lowcountry and provide safe employment for our team. We’re also thankful for our loyal clients who have supported our business and helped us raise close to $6,000 for our medical heroes on the frontlines through our partnership with Feeding Our Heroes SC. Joy to the world… we have officially reached the end of 2020! After many months of ups, downs and everything in between, we are ecstatic the holiday season has finally arrived in the Lowcountry. Times have certainly changed for our community and the world, but there is still so much to celebrate during this most wonderful time of the year.
