Born into a military family, Brandon spent much of his early life relocating every two years within the United States and Japan with his five sisters and two brothers.

After High School, he followed in his parents footsteps and joined the U.S. Navy as a Culinary Specialist and Rescue Diver, serving on board three Submarines. While serving, Brandon received certifications through IFSEA for Master Certified Food Executive, HACCP Manager and Sanitation Manager as well as certifications as an EMT and for Security Detail. Brandon then continued his contract with the USS Topeka SSN-754, where he provided insight and management of 6 junior Culinarians and a new dive team he himself trained and mentored.

In 2017, while stationed at Naval Nuclear Training Power Command as the bases building manager for housing, and as the Commands Fitness Leader, Brandon was Honorably Discharged and immediately began furthering his education at Trident Technical Institute, during which time he also worked at several local restaurants.

Brandon joined the Hamby team in 2020 as Warehouse and Fleet Manager. Applying his skills learned in the military as a Culinary Specialist, Brandon has streamlined an impressive inventory management system of Hamby’s Warehouse, aided in the execution of numerous catering events, and improved the management, maintenance, safety and preservation of company vehicles.

Brandon enjoys traveling with his kids, surfing and scuba diving in his down time.
