Becca Cook
Becca was raised in Anderson, South Carolina. From there, she attended and graduated at Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her interest in the hospitality field was sparked her senior year where she worked at a newly-built hotel in Clinton, SC where she was attending college. After graduating, she went to study and receive a post graduate diploma in International Hospitality Business Administration at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Bluche, Switzerland. It was there she learned all facets of hospitality with an emphasis on food and beverage. Postt-grad, Becca headed to the Lowcountry where she worked at The Spa at the Sanctuary on Kiawah Island where she grew into the Front Desk Manager role.
After working at Kiawah, Becca rediscovered her passion for fitness where she taught classes and acted as a personal trainer for 10 years. During this time, Becca had the opportunity to be a part of four start-up buildouts that led her to holding the Director of Operations position as she oversaw the business, created policies and procedures and ensured all clients were happy.
Becca’s passion for customer service and being a part of all elements within a growing business coming into fruition has led her into a leadership role as the Venue Coordinator at Hamby Catering. Becca is excited to use her entrepreneurial mindset, skills and experience in both fitness operation and hospitality as she takes on this new and exciting position.
When Becca isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, exercising, traveling, live music and basically anything that involves having fun!
