Emily Roess

Emily first joined the Hamby family in December 2017 and worked in several positions including her current position as The Market at Hamby Lead. Prior to her leadership in the Market Emily also served as an Event Lead offsite at Hamby wedding, social, and corporate events. As one of our most versatile and creative employees, she began her career in the wedding and hospitality industry as a full-time photographer. For several years she captured intimate event details and special family moments, a skill that has proven invaluable to our team.

As The Market at Hamby Lead, Emily leads the Market team to assist walk-in clients, as well as to coordinate the deliveries, limited service and seasonal packages offered in the Hamby retail space. She collaborates carefully with the culinary team and other members of the Sales team to create offerings for easy entertaining and meal solutions. By establishing ongoing relationships with Hamby clientele, Emily is able to anticipate needs and provide solutions for social, corporate, and wedding-related events. Her experience with Hamby offsite events allows Emily to shift seamlessly from knowing whether a client is best suited for a retail solution or more high-touch, full-service approach.

Her immersion into the hospitality industry through photography has allowed Emily a unique perspective on the overall experience and aesthetic of The Market at Hamby and ensures that no detail goes unnoticed. She received her bachelor’s in fine arts in photographic imaging in 2011.
