Rachel Malecky
Rachel is a native Charlestonian with over a decade experience in the food & beverage industry, during which time she has cultivated lasting relationships with local vendors and other industry professionals. Her Charleston roots coupled with a keen sense of developing talent has allowed Rachel to consistently and effectively train and prepare staff to execute events of all sizes and complexities.
Rachel originally joined Team Hamby as an Event Lead and Market at Hamby Sales Associate, where she learned the Hamby menu offerings, ranging from grab and go to full service. In addition, she fine-tuned her customer service skills while seeking to find easy entertaining solutions and family meal options for the Market at Hamby clientele.
Rachel expanded her event execution experience during a multi-year stint with a fellow catering company before returning to Hamby in 2021 as Staffing Coordinator, where she focuses on recruiting, training and energizing our offsite execution team. Through clear communication and goal setting, Rachel is able to make each event fun and stress free for Team Hamby.
