The Birthday Girl:

Onna celebrated her 40th birthday surrounded by all the people & things that she loves. Onna immediately said “yes” to the Rutledge Room hosting her birthday celebration upon her first visit and had countless amazing things to say about its versatility and endless possibilities. The Rutledge Room was the perfect backdrop for her beautiful night of celebration and love.

The Event:

Guests gathered for an unforgettable evening of laughter, love, and celebration as they toasted to four decades of the birthday girl. The atmosphere was electric as heartfelt speeches filled the air, and friends and family mingled late into the night. The night was rounded out by good food, friends, plenty of champagne and an outfit change!

The Dining:

Complementing the lively ambiance was an exceptional dining experience. From the hot honey buttermilk biscuit bites to the braised short rib and potato chip caviar bites, the cuisine was a perfect cultivation of Southern charm and flavors. With cocktails and spirits from our partner, Squeeze, we can confidently say that the guests left with happy hearts and full bellies!

The Details:

The hors d’oeuvres, cake, Dom Perignon champagne tower and table placements were just the beginning of the exquisite details that adorned the evening. Among the abundance of special touches that captured our attention, Onna’s sister, a professional dancer who performed a short dance for the guests, stood out as a true favorite, adding an extra layer of magnificence to the festivities!

Our flagship event venue, The Rutledge Room, made for the perfect backdrop to this exquisite evening of laughter and celebration! The dining area, dance floor and piazza were all put to good use as guests mingled, gave toast and dined on phenomenal cuisine. Located in the heart of the Cannonborough-Elliottborough neighborhood of Charleston with in-house dining and overnight stay amenities, what else could one ask for!
