Cheers to the Marvins! Linsy, being a former member of the Hamby Family, sure did know where to go for signature eats! Choosing the best of the best from passed hors d’ouevres to grazing tables, the couple’s personality was ready to shine! With the bride’s reception outfit and neon flare once the sun went down, the bright lighting and quirky treats from Lift Raft treats were definitely a hit!
The Event:
A beautiful ceremony celebrating a beautiful couple, it was an honor to be a part of their perfect night. Hosted at The Admiral’s House, the stunning bride, Linsy, had the night of her life with her new husband on the historic Charleston riverside.
The Dining:
Cocktail hour featured rotating delectable bites like our traditional Hamby tea sandwiches and mini tomato pies. The chinoiserie, florals, and Lowcountry touches of the venue, including string lights and the haint blue of the porch, made for the perfect backdrop. A grazing table offered the guests a variety of flavorful cuisine – needless to say, the full force of Hamby favorites were on display.
The Details:
From the couple’s wedding china on display to the florals, this evening was a true display of Southern charm. The bride, transitioning from her stunning ceremony gown to a reception dress paired with sneakers, orchestrated each element with true care. And as the festivities ended, an exhilarating exit amongst bubbles marked the perfect finale to this unforgettable occasion.

Encapsulated by timeless embrace of The Admiral’s House, a cherished Charleston landmark in history since its construction in 1905 as the Commandant of the Charleston Navy Yard, this majestic estate served as an exquisite backdrop for the couple’s timeless love story. Creating a night of unparalleled beauty and celebration!
