The Couple:

To see their smiles is to love Kate & Clint. And to see their love set against the beautiful oaks of St. Helena, well, that’s the real treat! The evening was tied with a bow being set against a full moon and king tide – and a dolphin even made an appearance! An omen of good luck if we’ve ever seen one!

The Dining:

The Hamby favorites our clients have come to love were well in play, featuring mini tomato pies, chicken & waffle bites, caprese skewers and more. Our stations held the main event, featuring chef-attended shrimp and grits, sliders & Southern Pasta Bakes. The evening was topped with buttermilk fried chicken nuggets as savory treat during the bride and groom’s exit.

The Details:

The ceremony was held outside the main house in front of the marsh at sunset. From there, guests were lead to a large tent for a seated dinner and dancing just adjacent to the main house. The exit was the pièce de résistance, featuring the adorable This Lil Figgy.

The Venue:

Nestled on St. Helena Island, Agapae Oaks is bordered on two sides by undeveloped marshlands, and is graced with countless trees including palmettos, Spanish moss-laden oaks, and cedars. The Historic main house has been present since 1790 and is surrounded by an aged pecan orchard, dock, wooded area and marsh.
