The Couple:

Erika and Ramon had an energy we won’t soon forget. After exchanging vows, they had one goal in mind: throw a bash for their friends and family that they wouldn’t soon forget. By what we can tell from the photography, they can check that box twice!

The Dining:

All of our Hamby staples were on display: peach & strawberry crostinis, fried chicken & waffle bites, shrimp & grits and braised short ribs. We also had our fan favorites Korean fried chicken sliders on deck and our dessert display to round out the offerings; rest assured, the guests hearts and bellies were full!

The Details:

Orchestrated by Jessica Laskow of YOJ Events, every detail was as gorgeous as it was intentional. The famed Avenue of Oaks served as the backdrop for the ceremony, and passed prosecco was the order of the day as guests walked to the cocktail hour location. Touches of gold, including the flatware, highlighted the clean lines of the tent and glinted in the café lighting.

The Venue:

The Legare Waring House was built in the 1840s and resides amid the manicured gardens of Charles Towne Landing, the site of South Carolina’s first permanent settlement. The house has played host to not only happy couples, but governors and international dignitaries, as well. Guests are greeted by an avenue of oaks, then are swept up in quintessential Charleston luster through the grounds’ double lagoons, gardens and overall charm.
